Get to know the team at your local dental surgery.

Khurram qualified from Edinburgh in 1994. He then commenced his training working in various hospitals including Cardiff, Dundee, Northampton and Kettering. After working in various practices Khurram became the practice owner of Smiles Ahead in 2006. He has a very warm and friendly manner and always treats his patients with respect and professionalism. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a special interest in oral surgery and implant placement. Khurram lives locally with his wife and young son, and in his spare time enjoys travelling and sports.

Shree qualified from Barts and The London School of Dentistry in 2018 and has worked in general practice and hospital. She is bubbly and personable and is always happy to listen. She has a variety of experiences with anxious patients. Recently she has been enjoying clinical teaching for dental and hygiene therapy students at a dental school and enjoyed her role in a paediatric department. Shree is completing a post graduate diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and provides facial aesthetic treatments for wrinkle reduction. Shree is a keen general dentist and enjoys all aspects of her career. In her spare time she is learning how to play golf, enjoys hiking, road trips and travelling.

Michele joined Smiles Ahead in 1990 as Practice Manager. Michele qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1985 in addition to being qualified as an Oral Health Educator. Michele has supported the practice through changes over the years and she loves the loyalty of all our patients and enjoys catching up with them when they come in. In her spare time Michele enjoys scouting, camping and walking.

Darjana joined Smiles Ahead in May 2021 as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Darjana is delighted that she has passed her Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 and is a qualified Dental Nurse. Darjana loves her job as a Dental Nurse and all aspects of it, including meeting our patients, answering questions about oral health care, check-up and filling appointments. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family & friends and looking forward to a new chapter in her life in Dentistry and what exciting opportunities are ahead.

Dominika joined the practice in September 2022 and is looking forward to working in at Smiles Ahead, she is no stranger to being busy and quick working whilst ensuring that our patients are happy. In her spare time she is studying Psychology, plays volley ball and spends time with her daughter.

Becky joined the team in 2014. Becky previously worked as a Customer Service Manager. Becky likes spending time talking to our patients and making them feel at ease when they are waiting for their appointment. In her spare time Becky likes spending time with her family and gardening.
